Clean it up!
Maria Montessori teaches that kids should clean-up after an activity, before moving on to another activity. It sounds simple enough, but it takes a great deal of parental involvement to put into action. You really have to be on top of your kids when they’re playing, but if you insist that they clean up after themselves as toddlers, it’s going to make life a lot easier when they’re teenagers!
